Maui Revealed calls Puamana an exceptionally well priced for what you get. "Puamana has 230 units, 3 pools, tennis court, children's playground, a/c. This is a huge, 28 acre gated community just outside Lahaina town, but a million miles away in terms of the tempo. Relaxed, soothing and lovely. Think of it as a tiny village on the outskirts of a busy town. Units are nicely furnished. The oceanfront units are highly coveted and worth the upgrade as they're less than 50 feet from the water. The beach is a walking beach, not good for swimming because it's reefy and cloudy. The adult pool is literally touching the ocean. Unlike most condos, each owner owns the land, as well, and variation between layouts is great. Units are large. This is an easy place to recommend, and if it weren't such a good deal, it would probably be a REAL GEM."
